In this video i will enable DHCP-DNS integration.
In this lab, you will configure dynamic updates so that DHCP and DNS are integrated.
- In the DHCP window, right-click the DHCP server.
- The Server Properties dialog box appears. Click the DNS tab.
- Verify that the Enable DNS Dynamic Updates According To The Settings Below checkbox is checked and verify that the Dynamically Update DNS A And PTR Records Only If Requested By The DHCP Clients radio button is selected. If it is not, then check it.
- Verify that the Discard A And PTR Records When Lease Is Deleted checkbox is checked. If it is not, then check it.
- Click the OK button to apply your changes and close the Properties dialog box.
