In this video i will show you how to reset an Existing Computer Account in Active Directory.
In this exercise, you will reset a computer account and disconnect it from the domain.
- In the Active Directory Users And Computers tool, expand the name of the domain.
- Click the RD OU, then right-click the Workstation1 computer account.
- Select Reset Account from the context menu. Click Yes to confirm your selection. Click OK at the success prompt.
- When you reset the account, you break the connection between the computer and the domain, so after performing this exercise, you would need to reconnect the computer if you want it to continue working on the network.
